Residential Architectural & Interior Photography

Transforming Spaces into Timeless Art

Luxury Residential Photography

Over the past few years, the global luxury real estate market has blossomed, setting it apart from the rest of the industry. Ownership patterns have become increasingly diverse, with international clients selecting designers from across the globe for their projects and increasingly looking to Ireland for the kind of residential property which is not available in places like London.

In this exclusive realm, many privately owned residences prefer to remain discreet about their owner’s identities. Consequently, all the photographs I capture of these opulent homes are presented anonymously. Moreover, a significant portion of these luxurious properties, some of which I have had the privilege to photograph, cannot be showcased on my website. For those that can be shared, I am often unable to disclose their precise locations or the specific circumstances surrounding the photoshoot.

My expertise in luxury residential photography encompasses various categories but my recent focus has been on high-end Kitchen Manufacturers. I specialise in photographing upscale townhouses and apartments in Irish and European cities, where the location, quality of design and age of the property takes precedence over size in determining the property's value.

In cities where luxury development has thrived, such as Dublin and London, I have documented prestigious residential projects. Additionally, my experience extends to capturing ultra-high-end property refurbishments for furniture manufacturers and contractors.

Irrespective of the aesthetic direction, I leverage my expertise in architectural and interior photography, to precisely tailor the imagery to the distinct demands of each location and project.

Contemporary Interior Photography

We have all dreamed of designing our own homes, from the very first attempt with Lego as a child through sketches and daydreams as adults.

Designing a house often resembles crafting a novel in that it serves as a captivating amateur art form. Even if you've never delved into design seriously, you have the creative freedom to, for instance, paint your ceiling black, though I must caution that this choice may not always yield favourable results and in fact, unless you live in a historic building with very high ceilings then I must caution against darker colours.

The beauty of this creative process lies in how clients' desires and preferences have profoundly and wonderfully shaped the world of design. While international commercial architecture may sometimes seem detached from its surroundings, houses continue to mirror the lifestyles of those who dwell within them.

These residents, in turn, enlist designers and architects who understand and resonate with their preferred way of life. Within the architectural profession, there exists a notable openness to diverse design choices, a phenomenon particularly conspicuous in contemporary house design in Ireland. Here, modern, post-modern, and traditional design languages converge, resulting in a spectrum of expressions ranging from the exuberant to the minimal.

As a photographer, my work has had to adapt to capture the unique quirks of their inhabitants as well as the talents of their designers and architects. The projects showcased represent some of the most intriguing projects I've had the privilege to photograph as well as the more conventional ones as I recognise not everyone has the budget for some of the higher-end projects and everyone deserves great photography.

What remains paramount in photographing these contemporary houses is the synergy between the client and the architect, even when, in some cases, the client is also the designer or a member of their family. This collaboration ensures that each project is a distinct, personalised masterpiece.
